Professor Sarah Paine is, by every measure, one of the most distinguished contemporary scholars of political strategy and history. She is a direct descendant of Robert Treat Paine, one of the Founding Fathers who signed the Declaration of Independence in 1776. What’s even more impressive? The core of their R&D happens right here in Warsaw. Poles hold pivotal roles at ElevenLabs—shoutout to Maciej Mylik, Anna Chrzanowska-Kovacs, Mateusz Kopeć, and Marcin Jeleński.

Tadeusz Gadacz to wybitny polski filozof specjalizujący się w filozofii człowieka. Były prezbiter katolicki i były członek zakonu pijarów. Był najbliższym uczniem i asystentem księdza Józefa Tischnera. Stał się kontynuatorem jego myśli. Jako jeden z najwybitniejszych znawców filozofii dialogu oswoił najtrudniejsze nurty współczesnej myśli pokazując, że filozofia nie jest dziś tylko martwą nauką. Za swoje działania na rzecz nauki otrzymał Złoty Krzyż Zasługi. Był za swoje poglądy śledzony przez aparat bezpieczeństwa PRL. Miał zakaz wyjazdu z kraju. Dziś stawia Polakom chyba najokrutniejszą z diagnoz, jaką słyszałem. „Stajemy się społeczeństwem pozbawionym autorytetów”.
Po przeprowadzeniu rozmowy Pan Profesor otrzymał ją do autoryzacji. Nie wniósł żadnej uwagi wskazując, że to najważniejszy wywiad w jego życiu. Jeszcze nigdy nie usłyszałem tego od nikogo. Sam nie dokonałem ingerencji w wywiad nawet słowem. Podejdźcie do niego z szacunkiem, bo jednego jestem pewien. Mój gość kocha ten kraj. Całość w komentarzu.

Wonderful news! A team of researchers from the Jagiellonian University has discovered a molecule that effectively disrupts DNA replication and repair processes by blocking the function of PCNA—a protein that plays a critical role in these mechanisms.
This fundamental discovery paves the way for innovative cancer therapies. Following the necessary clinical trials, this molecule (or its derivatives) could be delivered as a drug using nanoparticle carriers directly to cancer cells, effectively halting their division.
At the heart of every cancer cell lies the PCNA protein. Think of it as a "construction manager" that ensures the cancer’s DNA is copied without errors and repairs any damage. This protein is what makes cancer feel nearly indestructible.
The team led by Dr. hab. Wojciech Strzałka has discovered a molecule that acts as a precision brake, stripping the cancer of its ability to survive and multiply.
